2 Stroke Oils

Description:

BLUE MARINE OILS are developed for medium-speed, four-stroke, trunk piston engines which are used for both propulsion and diesel generator applications. Unlike slow-speed engines, there is no separation between cylinder and crankcase lubrication, therefore BLUE MARINE fulfils the requirements for both. Being directly exposed to blow-by gases and fuel leakage, this oil has much higher dispersancy to cope with any contamination. As medium-speed engines have splash lubrication, (ie. excess cylinder lubrication), the base number of the BLUE MARINE oil is lower than slow-speed engine cylinder oils, but it still maintains the required quantity of alkalinity.  BLUE MARINE is fortified with sufficient detergent and dispersant additives allowing marine diesel and heavy fuel operation as well as

As medium-speed engines have splash lubrication, (ie. excess cylinder lubrication), the base number of the BLUE MARINE oil is lower than slow-speed engine cylinder oils, but it still maintains the required quantity of alkalinity.  BLUE MARINE is fortified with sufficient detergent and dispersant additives allowing marine diesel and heavy fuel operation as well as extended time between overhauls.  It ensures the cleanliness of the piston ring area and cooling gallery thereby keeping the crankcase free from sludge, even under the most severe running conditions.
