Q8 Wagner NS 68 is an outstanding slideway oil with excellent wear protection through strong oil film. The oil has good demulsibility properties when in contact with water based cutting fluids, as shown in the SKC compatibility test. Q8 Wagner NS 68 provides control frictional properties, is compatible with water based metalworking fluids and offers outstanding corrosion protection of the tools.

Applications:

Q8 Wagner NS 68 is used in horizontal slide ways of machine tools. This oil is also applicable in systems requiring CLP (industrial gear oils) or HLP (hydraulic oils) specifications.

Product Features:

Extensive oil drain interval for a longer lubricant lifetime

  • Protection against high pressure splashing of water based cutting fluids
  • HSuperior decrease of friction
  • High capability to separate entrained water from oil
  • Superior anti-corrosion characteristics

Lower downtime and an improved maintenance efficiency

  • Highly fit for different operations
  • Outstanding performance against wear

Description:

Blue Chip SWO 220 is a high-quality lubricant specially developed for slides and ways of metal working machines. It is formulated with highly refined mineral oils and is compounded with EP additives, friction modifiers, rust and corrosion inhibitors and tackiness additives. SWO 220 ensures dimensional accuracy and good surface finish of workpieces by controlling “stick-slip” and chatter.

Applications:

Recommended for a wide variety of lathes and cutting, grinding and milling machines. Particularly suitable for horizontal slide ways. Suitable for a broad range of other industrial applications where an adhesive, corrosion inhibited lubricant with EP properties are required.

Product Features:

  • Special tackiness additive ensures adhesion to metal surfaces.
  • Outstanding demulsibility properties enable rapid separation of water based cutting oil.
  • Improved extreme pressure additives minimise wear.
  • Functional friction modifiers and oiliness additives control slick/slip and chatter.
  • Effective inhibitors protect against rust and corrosion.

Cutting Fluids

Description:

BLUE CUT 1 is an extreme pressure, semi synthetic, soluble cutting fluid suitable for a wide range of arduous
metal removing operations. It is formulated with high levels of biocides, fungicides and foam suppressants and
is free from sodium nitrate and phenols. Designed to deliver optimum machining performance whilst exhibiting
excellent sump life and resistance to bacterial growth.

Applications:

Formulated for use in a broad range of metal removing operations on a wide variety of tough to machine metals.
BLUE CUT 1 is not recommended for machining aluminium and copper and their alloys since it may stain
such metals. Water containing metalworking fluids should not be used for machining magnesium.

Product Features:

  • Excellent tool life and surface finish
  • Good anti-rust and -corrosion properties
  • Superior cooling and wetting ability
  • Biostable formulation resists bacterial growth
  • High degree of operator acceptability

Description:

High oil containing nitrite free phenolic free conventional opaque soluble oil. Containing emulsifiers, corrosion inhibitors, foam suppressants and other functional additives to impart the necessary performance for this category of product. In various metal cutting operations a conventional general purpose soluble oil is requested. This type of product is widely accepted due to its cooling and lubricating properties.

In comparison with more modern fluids, BLUE SOL – AL may be considered lacking in terms of resistance to microbial spoilage and therefore coolant life. With this in mind BLUE SOL – AL would normally be suggested for use in applications where high losses are encountered or soluble oil costs are the major factor. As with all water based fluids, good housekeeping and system maintenance are important to ensure the satisfactory working life of the product.

Applications:

This product can be used an all ferrous metals, including copper, brass and aluminium alloys. ( Method of Use  :  5% – 8% Maximum ) In all general metal removal operations were cooling and machine tool lubrication is required.

Product Features:

  • Corrosion protection of workpieces.
  • Good cooling and lubrication.
  • Stable opaque emulsions tolerant to hard waters.
  • Shows good tramp oil separation.
  • Low foaming potential.
  • Good filterability.
  • Low odour.
  • Cost effective at working dilution’s.
