Description:

BLUE CHIP DEGREASING FLUID TYPE 1 is a heavy duty, homogeneous, solvent based, emulsifiable degreasing fluid with a high flash point.  It is intended for the cleaning of oil and grease soiled, painted or unpainted surfaces of mechanical components on automotive, earthmoving and industrial machinery and engines on which water can be tolerated.

Applications:

BLUE CHIP DEGEASING FLUID TYPE 1 is to be applied preferably neat (without dilution with water), by spray or brush, and allowed to soak into the grime or dirt, then agitated and washed off with a jet of water.

It is intended for the cleaning of oil and grease soiled, painted or unpainted surfaces of mechanical components on automotive, earthmoving and industrial machinery and engines on which water can be tolerated. BCDF2 has a slightly paraffinic odour

Applications:

DEGEASING FLUID TYPE 2 is to be applied preferably neat, with a spray or brush, and allowed to soak into the grime or dirt, then agitated and washed off with a jet of water.

Description:

Blue Chip Electrical Contact Cleaner is a clear colourless fluid designed to evaporate at a predetermined rate thereby preventing excessive cooling which can result in moisture from the atmosphere being deposited on surfaces resulting in electrical failure.  Upon drying it leaves a clean uncontaminated surface.

Applications:

For cleaning electrical components of electrical machinery and general metal cleaning. Application can be by brush, dip and spray. Soaking tanks should have well fitted lids to prevent evaporation. Spraying should be carried out in well ventilated areas or spray booths having suitable extraction fans.

Components heavily coated with oil and grease should be rinsed in a clean rinsing tank to prevent an oil film remaining on the surface. This product is non-corrosive to metals and will have no detrimental effect on normal insulating materials, high quality paints and plastics. There could however be an effect on “Perspex” and contact with natural rubber will cause slight swelling – prolonged immersion should be avoided.
